Developing Effective Human Trafficking Training Series Session 2

During this 3-part training series, participants will learn how to think critically about training and outreach efforts and how to create and/or revive their training and existing curriculums for 2023 and beyond. This series will offer interactive group discussions and independent learning assignments to support foundational and continued learning.

Participants will be expected to:

• Complete independent work assignments, including individual assessments, that include up to 1-2 hours of pre-session assignments for each session.
• Join group discussions and think critically about their own training and outreach goals.
• Adapt and/or create training materials based on what is learned and share these materials with the group for further discussion.

This virtual training opportunity is open to grant-funded program staff of active FY20 – FY22 OVC Human Trafficking Victim Service Program grantees (specifically those funded under victim services and services for minor victims of labor trafficking). Additionally, if you are new to developing training and/or have program goals related to developing and/or refreshing training materials, participation in this series would assist you in meeting those objectives.
